sweet little love

oh this girl is growing up so fast. too fast...

I just cant believe how sweet all these little moments are and how quickly they flash before my eyes. one minute this sweet gal is saying "uh-oh" and all the sudden she is speaking in sentences! i just cannot believe it, everyone warned me about how fast time flies and i just didn't even have a clue. a few weeks ago after meryl went to bed, we were having dinner-- mike was just talking about how beautiful meryl is and how she is getting more and more beautiful every day. he had tears (small ones, but there were tears) in his eyes and it was just so sweet, this is for sure a story i will tell her all about when she is older. mike just loves this girl so much and calls her "little love". oh she has him wrapped around her little finger for sure.

we had a very delayed fathers day celebration for mike on saturday and it was so fun. we had a full day at the splash pad, the pool, bbq sandwiches for lunch (a mikey b fave) and then an early dinner, then we made some choc chip cookies (also a mikey b fave)! we are so thankful for our sweet "da-da"-he is the best--he loves us so well and is willing to do literally anything for us-we are so lucky. Also so very thankful for our Dads who have taught us so much about unconditional love and who have just been there for us thru everything.

...and we so cannot believe it-but we just have hit a year in austin! I get so sappy thinking about all we have been so blessed with this year--and all that we have learned... we are so thankful for all we have walked thru this year and all the love that we have felt from our families and sweet, sweet friends here who have supported us so much thru this time! such a crazy, fun and interesting year behind us we cannot wait to see what is ahead!
