we are loving our sweet potatoes, nothing else can really compare, maybe just maybe squash? we have also tried bananas, avocado, cheerios (we are warming up to), pears (hate!!) apples (hate!!). this girl apparently has very different taste buds than her momma. she is loving those veggies, which follows mike's (random) prediction that this girl will be a vegetarian.
she's getting a little heavy for those weekly pics (a whopping 15 lbs 11 oz!) in the past 6 months, we have truly, truly embraced PINK. Most of you know I'm not a pink girl, but this lil gal has brought us to the other side. we have pink sweaters, dresses, dollies, socks--you name it we have it in pink.
auntie ash calls meryl "our little granola girl". she LOVES being outside and especially loves to swing in this swing her daddy built her before she was born. she giggles and shreeks when you swing her-she just LOVES it.
also loves being in the hammock, after running errands, I have come home to mike and meryl hanging out in the back yard, meryl sleeping in the hammock, thumb in mouth :) i love this.
Easter, definitely so much more fun with a sweet little lady (well, really everything is more fun!). i had a blast getting her little outfit together (thank you mimi and pops for the adorable dress, inherited cute pink crochet shoes from grace, i made the headband). Miss Meryl's little life has been such a blessing to us, we are learning more from her everyday and feel so lucky to be her momma and daddy! ;)
